The International Office is an important part of CINVESTAV that is focused on coordinating relations with other educational and scientific institutions, as well as to provide advice and adequate information to the International visitors during their stay in the institution. Our main goal is to build an international network that gives the students and the researchers the facility to interact with other countries and promote intercultural development.

To support the development of postgraduate and doctoral students with international and intercultural competency with exchange programs in international research institutes.

Enhancing the quality and innovation of education and research by inviting leading researchers around the world for a short or long stay at CINVESTAV.

Attract International students to take up their Masters or Doctoral program at CINVESTAV.

Assist and motivate researchers to contact foreign colaborators to enhance their research activities by means of joint projects, joint publications, etc.

Guidance to students for their future career in international arena.

Sign memorandum of understanding (MoU) with leading research institutes around the world to establish a worldwide network of academics and graduates.

Fostering friendship between people in academic and administrative sector in order to enhance the ability, efficiency of operation, etc.
About Cinvestav
The Center for Research and Avanced Studies of I.P.N. (CINVESTAV) is a public organism dedicated to promote, develop and teach scientific investigation. The Institution counts with 37 Departments, separated in to 4 research areas; Exact Sciences, Biology and Medicine, Techonology and Engineering and Social Sciences & Humanities.
CINVESTAV is having 9 Centers across Mexico which offer a variety of Academic programs and research areas, counting with 21 programs competent at an International level and the remaining ones considered at high level.
